Accessibility statement
Last updated 28 October 2026
We want everyone to be able to use the Strays website (getstrays.com) and app (app.getstrays.com), including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or high contrast. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
How we test
- Before every release, automated checks (axe) test every page of the website and the app's pages as people use them against the WCAG 2.2 A and AA rules, on a computer-sized screen and a phone, in light mode and (for the website and the app's main pages) dark mode. A release with a problem they find doesn't go out.
- Pages have a "Skip to content" link, headings and landmarks for screen readers, and labelled form fields; website pages are checked not to scroll sideways on a phone.
- Our videos come with a written transcript.
Automated checks find many problems but not all of them, so some may remain.
Signing in
The sign-up and sign-in pages are run by Amazon Cognito, not built by us, so we can't test or fix everything on them ourselves. If it causes you a problem, tell us and we'll help you get in.
Tell us about a problem
If something on Strays is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, email support@getstrays.com with "Accessibility" in the subject. Tell us the page and what happened, and we'll reply and work on a fix.
